Stanley Park High – Open Evening – Wed 2nd Oct – Expect Traffic Disruption

As you may have received through your letter boxes from SPH school there are few dates for the diary over possible traffic disruption / busy times over the next couple of weeks and the Open Day in the Autumn term.

  • Thursday 11th July – 18:00 to 20:15hrs – School Celebration
  • Wednesday 17th July – Year 8 Graduation Ceremony – 18:00 to 19:30hrs
  • Wednesday 2nd October – SPH School Open Evening – 17:30hrs to 20:30hrs


Springtime Walk – 18th March 2018

The Springtime Walk through Queen Mary’s Park and Queen Mary’s Wood will be on the 18th of March (picture attached).
Alex Draper, head of the team that has been working in the Wood (clearance, footpaths, pond, etc), will be coming in addition to Anne, Robert and myself.If you would like to come on the walk, please email me to confirm. Please don’t invite people without getting them to email me, as the numbers mustn’t get too large.Ray Liffen

Stanley Park High – Open Evening – Thu 21st Sept – Expect Congestion

As we mentioned back in June here is the official note confirming Thursday evening’s opening evening. It will be busy but last years traffic management meant delays were kept to a minimum.

Other dates for your diary will be the 28th Sept and the 12th Oct as there are smaller scale Open Mornings that will likely lead to larger traffic volumes.


Stanley Park High – Open Evening – Thu 21st Sept

Just a marker for your diary regards the Annual Open Evening that Stanley Park High are planning for the evening of Thursday 21st Sept. Last year was very well organised but there will be some delays so please do be aware if you are planning to need to go anywhere via car from around 17.00hrs to 20.30hrs.

Nearer the time they’ll be a flyer sent around with confirmation of the plan etc. sent around to all residents.

Bin Collection a bit rubbish ? Fed up with Parking ?

Then come along to the Carshalton and Clockhouse Local Committee meeting.

When: Tue 25th April @ 7.30pm

Where: Carshalton Beeches Baptist Church, Banstead Road, Carshalton Beeches, SM5 3NL

Hamish Pollock (Chairman) is giving 1 hour for questions on problems in the area. Both Head of Waste Management and Lead Councillor responsible for the current situation (Jill Whitehead) will be answering queries/complaints we may have.
