A BRIEF HISTORY OF OUR CARS - 1997-1999

 

After what felt a short time of ownership and many times treating the car like a mobile workshop whilst working as a support engineer. I changed jobs to head up the Technology Services Department at BHWG (now Proximity London).
	With the change also meant a change of vehicles and after not opting for a company car but the cash alternative I was in the market to buy a new S Class. I no longer needed to carry hundreds of spare parts around this did make a practical alternative.

We couldn't have afforded a new model and before now I hadn't really considered purchasing a 2nd hand car but seeing what we could get was appealing We originally viewed a test drove a SL300-24v in Signal Red. Although the colour was lovely it would need to have air-con fitted and this made it not so appealing
As fate would have it we were due for another test drive and another customer wrapped the car up whilst out on a test drive. So we opted for a newer SL320 in Brilliant Silver.
